Kept With Similar Sized Fish (Shoaling Fish Groups Of 6-8)

Small Fish With Little Colour, 2.5-3.2Cm (1-1.25 “) Length, Mainly A Pale Green/Yellow With Hints Of Blue, They Get Their Common Name From Their Bright Blue Eyes.

These Are Sociable Fish That Appreciate Company Of Their Own. They Are Peaceful And Shoaling, They Will Spend The Majority Of Time In The Middle Of The Water Column Swimming Together. Will Hide If Threatened. They Will Do Fine With Other Small Peaceful Tank Mates, However,Because This Fish Is Very Small They Can Be Easily Eaten By Larger Fish! So, Do Not Keep With Anything Predatory Or Aggressive Such As Angelfish.

Feed Once Or Twice A Day In Small Amounts, An Omnivore So Will Accept Pellets And Flake As Well As Live/Frozen Daphnia And Brine Shrimp.

Prefers A Spacious Tank With Dense Planting In Which To Hide. They Do Not Like Exceptionally Bright Light, And Dimmed Light. Water Temperature Of 22 -26 ?C (71.6-78.8?F) Is Preferred.
